(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Wind speed can increase up to 40 – 45 kilometres per hour at times across Northern, Southern and North-Western Provinces, and Monaragala, Anuradhapura and Matale Districts on Saturday (23) the Department of Meteorology stated.
Mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island. However, the Met. Department stressed that there is a possibility for isolated showers or thundershowers after 2.00 PM this afternoon in the Western Province, and Kegalle District.
