MONETARY LIMITS OF COMMERCIAL HIGH COURT INCREASED

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The minimum value of consideration of cases filed at Commercial High Courts has been increased from 5 to 20 Million Rupees.

A special gazette issued stated that the change will take effect from the 15^th of March.

Legal experts point out that this step would help resolve cases of higher value sooner, thus increasing confidence among investors.
