Mr. Rishad Bathiudeen establishes himself as the most respected Muslim Leader of Sri Lanka

The former Minister of Industry and Commerce Mr. Rishad Bathiudeen, the leader of the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) has established  himself as the most popular and respected Muslim leader of Sri Lanka.  His party All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) contesting under the United National Party has won 4 seats

Mr. Rishad Bathiudeen has comfortably won from the Vanni District.

Mr. R Ishak Rahman has won from the Anuradahpura district

Mr. Mahroof has won from the Trincomalee district and

Mr. Ameer Ali has won from the Batticaloa district.

The Party has narrowly lost 3 seats in the Digamadulla, Puttalam and Kurunegala districts.  The party candidates are topping the list of defeated candidates. The results indicate that Muslims of Sri Lanka has begun to accept Mr. Rishad Bathiudeen as a true and genuine leader representing the Muslims of this country unlike some other selfish individuals who in the name of representing Muslims are only interested in attaining their selfish goals by making Muslims as a scapegoat.
