More Minuwangoda unrest suspects out on bail

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Three suspects arrested in connection with the unrest reported on the 13^th of May in Minuwangoda have been released on bail.

The order was issued by Minuwangoda Magistrate Kesara Samaradiwakara. Our Court Correspondent said the suspects were released on a surety bail amounting to 100,000 rupees each.

The suspects have been ordered to appear before court once again on the 16^th of October. Meanwhile, 18 others who were arrested and subsequently released on bail were also presented before Court yesterday.

The group has been ordered to appear before Court once again on the 4^th of September.

The Minuwangoda Magistrate has ordered officials to file charges against the group during the next Court hearing.
