“Dark era will befall Tamil citizens if Gota elected” – CV

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) -Former Chief Minister of the Northern Province CV Wigneswaran says a dark era will befall Tamil citizens if Gotabaya Rajapaksa is elected the country’s next President.

Speaking to media after an event in Jaffna the Former Chief Minister said all Tamil citizens will certainly not vote for Rajapaksa.

Wigneswaran also expressed his bemusement at Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s decision to name Gotabaya Rajapaksa as a Presidential candidate representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

He further noted that, according to public opinion Gotabaya Rajapaksa is incapable of garnering the support of the masses to win the election.
