(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Election Commission (EC) says voters eligible to cast vote at the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Election must produce a valid form of identity.
The Commission said seven forms of ID can be utilized, such as the National Identity Card, Passport, Drivers License, Pensioners ID and the elders ID.
The Election Commission said the ID issued for clergy including the special ID issued by the Election Commission can also be utilized when casting vote.
Voters can apply for the Election Commission issued ID until next Thursday.
