TNA to hold talks with Gotabaya Rajapaksa

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) is due to meet with Presidential candidate of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

TNA Media Spokesman Parliamentarian MA Sumanthiran said the TNA requested the Gotabaya Rajapaksa faction for a sitting in order to hold discussions.

The national issue is due to be taken up for discussion in detail.

The Tamil National Alliance is yet to announce its stance pertaining to the upcoming Presidential Election and a candidate they could likely support.

The TNA over the past few weeks held talks with candidates to determine their solution to the national issue, and stated that a final decision on the Presidential Election will be reached subsequently.
