Sri Lanka likely to receive rain today

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology has forecasted that showers are expected in several areas on Friday (01).

Accordingly, showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva Provinces, and Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Anuradhapura and Vavuniya Districts after 1.00 this evening, while fairly heavy falls about 75 millimetres can be expected at some places in Galle, Matara, Ratnapura, and Monaragala Districts.
