Two arrested with 2.21kg of ‘Ice’ remanded

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The two suspects arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport on the 25th of October with 2.21kg of the narcotic ‘Ice’ have been remanded until tomorrow.

The Office of the Police Media Spokesman said the suspects are residents of Moratuwa.

Four more suspects involved in the racket have also been arrested based on information revealed following interrogations.

It has been revealed that three of the suspects arrested are residents of Wattala while the other suspect is a resident of Colombo.

Police said further investigations are being carried out, under detention orders, after the suspects were produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court.
