SLFP names committee to appoint seat organizers

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has named a special committee to arrive at decisions pertaining to the appointment of seat organizers.

The Committee is chaired by Senior Vice Chairman of the SLFP Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa, and consists of General Secretary of the SLFP Parliamentarian Dayasiri Jayasekara and General Secretary of the United People’s Freedom Alliance Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.

Speaking to a prominent online news portal in the isle Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa ha stated that two independent experts are also set to be named in the committee.

The committee is vested with the responsibility of reviewing the process of appointing seat organizers and appointing new seat organizers.
