Court issues overseas travel ban on Patali

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka and one of his drivers have been issued an overseas travel ban by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

The order was issued by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjana De Silva yesterday (13) after taking into consideration details produced in Court by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) over an accident reported on 28 February, 2016 in Rajagiriya.

The CCD has informed Court that a comprehensive investigation has once again been launched into the accident that resulted in critical injuries to a youth.
