(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – United National Party Parliamentarian Ajith P Perera says MP Sajith Premadasa will be able to emerge victorious at the Parliamentary Election and work in consensus with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Speaking during a media briefing in Kalutara MP Perera said MP Premadasa is not an individual who believes he should rule the country alone.
The Parliamentarian said he believes that several people in the country would be pleased with President Rajapaksa and MP Premadasa as the Prime Minister.
He further noted that he believes MP Sajith Premadasa will be appointed as the Leader of the UNP within the year.
