Patali Champika Ranawaka granted bail

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has been granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

He was ordered released on a cash bail of Rs 25,000 and two sureties of Rs 500,000 each.

The UNP MP, who was arrested and remanded over a road accident in Rajagiriya, was produced before the court this morning (24).

He had arrived at the court premises at around 9.00 a.m. today accompanied by prison guards, for the hearing of the case filed against him.
