‘Real Christmas spirit is about brightening lives’

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in his Christmas message says an environment now prevails in the country where Christmas can be celebrated without any fear.

The President while wishing those celebrating Christmas said the real Christmas spirit is about brightening the lives of all persons.

President Rajapaksa said the public should also attempt to identify the spiritual message that was brought by Jesus to the world.

The President said those places of worship that was hit by terror should not witness such events again.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said all persons should be determined to establish a fair society and follow the teachings of Jesus which guides people to treat all human beings equally and fairly.
