Dinesh Gunawardena to travel to India today

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Minister of Foreign Relations Dinesh Gunawardena will travel to India today, on a three-day official visit.

Minister Gunawardena will arrive in New Delhi tonight.

The Minister is due to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Dr. S Jaishankar at the Hyderabad House.

Minister Gunawardena will also meet with India’s Minister of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey and Minister of Labour and Employment.

Minister Gunawardena will also pay a visit to the Mahabodhi Temple and the Indian National Museum on Friday.

This is Minister Gunawardena’s first overseas visit since assuming office as Minister of Foreign Relations.
