Govt. betrayed the public mandate -Opposition

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The second day of the adjournment debate on the policy statement delivered by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, is currently being held in Parliament.

Parliamentarian Chaminda Wijesiri accused the present administration led by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa of betraying the mandate of the people.

He said although the government pledged to empower of the people, it has already sold a number of national assets to other countries.

MP Wijesiri said the general public is concerned of the activities of the country.
