Decisive meeting on UNP leadership today

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – A decisive meeting on the Leadership of the United National Party (UNP) is scheduled to be held today (20).

The meeting is set to get underway between Leader of the UNP Ranil Wickremesinghe, Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa and Speaker of House Karu Jayasuriya.

UNP internal sources said an agreement can be reached during today’s meeting, pertaining to the leadership crisis.

A meeting was held between Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa on Saturday.
