In a twitter statement to commemorate Sri Lanka’s 72nd Anniversary of Independence, Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated “Pakistan remains committed to working closely with Sri Lanka to achieve our shared objectives of peace, development, and prosperity within the region and beyond.”
