2 weeks needed to assess condition of COVID19 cases

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Specialist Dr. Ananda Wijewickrama of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases says a two week period will be required to reach a conclusion over the health condition of coronavirus cases who have been identified thus far.

Dr. Wijewickrama when contacted by a prominent online news portal in the isle stated that the coronavirus cases presently under observation are not in critical condition.

Specialist Dr. Wijewickrama also refuted reports of a request circulating calling for donations for the coronavirus cases under his name and mobile number.

The Doctor highlighted that he had not made any such request.
