Seven arrested for spreading fake news

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Seven suspects have been arrested for spreading fake news on social media related to the coronavirus, the Police media unit said.

The Police said that the suspects were arrested based on investigations carried out by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
