“The Outpost” sets July 2nd theatrical run

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Scott Eastwood and Orlando Bloom-led Afghan war thriller “The Outpost” has been given a July 2nd theatrical release with a plan to initially roll out on 500 screens through Fathom Events before a traditional run on the big screen.

It joins the Russell Crowe-led “Unhinged” as one of the first releases to debut in U.S. cinemas with “Unhinged” opening the day before on July 1st. “The Outpost” screenings will be accompanied by a special introduction from select cast members and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

Bravo Troop 3-61 CAV became one of the most decorated units of the 19-year conflict. Rod Lurie helms the film which also stars Caleb Landry Jones, Jack Kesy, Taylor John Smith, Jacob Scipio, and Milo Gibson.
