993 arrested in special operation in Western Province

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – A total of 993 persons have been arrested in a special operation carried out in the Western Province, the Police said.

Reportedly, 80 of these arrestees were identified through their fingerprints and had been wanted for various crimes.
