Day 5 of Postal voting gets underway today

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Day five of postal voting for the 2020 General Election will get underway at 9.00am today.

705,085 electors are eligible to cast postal ballots for the election.

Accordingly, all personnel and employees attached to Police Stations, defence forces, the Civil Security Department, health services sector, all District Secretariat offices and election offices will have the opportunity to cast their postal ballot today.

Officers in the aforementioned sectors were able to cast their vote yesterday as well.
