“Tenet” Extending its theatrical run
(FASTNEWS | NEW YORK) – Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” is reportedly extending its theatrical run in Los Angeles and New York IMAX locations until March 30th.
The extension comes in the wake of the film receiving over thirty sold-out shows in recent weeks following restrictions lifting in New York and Los Angeles.
“Tenet” debuted in four IMAX screens in New York on March 12th and in eight IMAX screens in Los Angeles on March 19th. All theaters are currently limited to 25% capacity.
This late success in these two cities, especially with the film having been available to buy or rent on VOD for months now, is seen as a positive step for movie theaters.
