Reverend Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero passed away

Castle of Naga Vihara Chief Prelate Venerable Maduluwawe Sobhita Thero died yesterday (2015.11.08) while receiving treatment at a hospital in Singapore.Venerable Sobitha Thero, who provided leadership fought for social justice in Srilanka.At the age of 73, he was instrumental to change the State for Good governance.Remains of Ven.Sobitha Thero has been brought to Srilanka and laid in Kotte Raja Maha Vihara enabling Public to pay their last respect. Funeral will take place with State respects at Parliamentary Ground on Thursday ,12th November 2015. The Government has declared Thursday as day of mourning.
