Special SLTB service for festive season

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – A special bus service will be launched from tomorrow for those travelling from Colombo to their home towns for the New Year, Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Ruhuna Chief Regional Manager Prabath Kumara said.

It will be operated with the collaboration of 11 depots of the Ruhuna SLTB. Kataragama, Ambalangoda, Galle, Matara, Tangalle and other major bus stands will operate buses to the capital, the SLTB Chief Regional Manager said.

It is also planned to launch a mobile inspection service without any harassment to the public to secure the revenue of the Ruhuna area during the festive season.
