Former Minister Johnston’s 52 Lakhs Cheating Case Postponed To 28 th March 2016

For buying food items worth more than 52 lakhs for three Sathosa branches and abdicate payments have been the subject matter of the case. Former Minister’s Coordinating Secretary ,A.K.M.Saker has been named as first accused. Former  Co-operative  and Internal Trade Minister Johnson Fernando and former Lak Sathosa Chairman K.M.R. Fernando have been named as second accused appeared before Kurunegala Magistrate Court today. FCID seargent Chanaka made on application to postpone the case until such time he receives instruction from the Attorney General.  After considering the application Kurunegala Court. Additional Magistrate, Chamara Wickremanayake ordered postponement of the case to 28 th  March 2016.
