“The Hunger” remake sets a director
(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Angela Robinson (“DEBS”) is in final talks to direct a remake of Tony Scott’s famed 1983 erotic vampire film “The Hunger” for Warner Bros. Pictures.
Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Susan Sarandon starred in the original which was based on a novel by Whitley Strieber. It dealt with a love triangle between a doctor, who specializes in sleep and aging research, and a vampire couple.
Jessica Sharzer (“Nine Perfect Strangers”) is writing the script for the new version.
