The Government has announced Rs 10,000 salary increase to state employees. Out of this 10,000 , Rs 2,500 to be included in the salary as from January 2016.However, this has not been made effective.
The Minister of Public Administration and Management, Ranjith Madduma Bandara said, proposed salary increase of Rs 2500 for state employees will be paid along with the arrears in March 2016.In other words, state employees will get Rs 7,500 arrears in March 2016.In this connection draft public administration circular has been submitted to the Cabinet, which is under considerations he said.
