Avant Garde entered in to an agreement with Rakna Lanka limited in October 2015. Followed by agreement signed, Avant Garde paid 165 Million to Rakna Lanka Limited.
There after ,Avant Gard did not make any payment to Rakna Lanka Limited. Avant Garde has to pay Rakna Lanka Limited Rs 800 million as at date. Chairman of Rakna Lanka Limited ,Victor Samaraweera has sent a letter to Avant Garde requesting to pay dues of Rs 800 million promptly. Failure would result in taking legal action,letter says.
Attorney General and Ministry of Finance have been notified about this.
Avant Garde has agreed to pay dues of Rs 800 million in 10 equal installments.
