Followed by sentencing former Frontline Socialist Party Leader, Kumar Gunaratnam for one year for violating immigration and emigration laws of Srilanaka, Front line Socialist Partymen demonstrated this morning in front of the Immigration and emigration Department at Punchi Borella demanding release of Kumar Gunaratnam. By 1200 hrs partymen reported to have entered the office and started causing damage to property. Followed by this, clash erupted between them and the police. Await for more details.
