Parlimentary 55 Million Supplementary Estimate Voting Debacle Report on 16th May

The Speaker Karu Jeyasuriya has appointed a committee led by leader of the opposition,R. Sampanthan to investigate and report the correct position during  voting on 55 million supplementary estimate in parliament. The other members of  the committee are : Wijedasa Rajapakse, Rauf Hakeem and Chamal Rajapakse.

The Committee has analysed  video footage of the voting during last 2 days . Today the report will be finalized. The Committee report will be submitted to the Speaker on 16th May 2016, Parliamentary sources revealed.
