Vass Gunawardena’s Wife Granted Bail

Shyamali Perera was charged for possessing illegal weapons with her and in remand prison. When the case was taken up today, the Colombo High Court granted bail to the wife of former Police DIG Vass Gunawardena- Shyamali Perera.

Shyamali Perera was bailed out on cash bail of 100,000 rupees and two surety bails of 500,000 each. She was debarred foreign travel.
