Speaker Confirms There is no Sabotage in Micro Phone Failure in Parliament

The Parliament was adjourned for the day after the technical fault yesterday. The sessions commenced this morning.

Making a statement today in the Parliament, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya  said that the micro phone failure occurred due to a technical failure in the audio system of the Parliament, and not a sabotage as claimed by certain parties.

The no confidence motion against the Finance Minister was taken up for debate this morning, and being debated.
