Dead child in Serunuwara questions the faith of many

A recent occurrence in the Kalladi illupudal Church in the Serunuwara Police area has left locals in a very uneasy state.

2 and a half year old Ganapalan Sudarshan was child who had been sick from time to time and often in and out of hospital though to hardly any avail. Considering another option his parents had opted to pray for him at their local church on the 11^th and 12^th.

After coming home on the 12^th his condition had been better but while playing in the garden the boy had suddenly collapsed and was pronounced dead by doctors due to a fit which had worsened his already deteriorated health.

Locals have attributed the death to the Church and are crying out for it to be closed down.

However the protests have died down after the District secretariat and the Serunuwara Police inteevened today (15) promising a solution soon, once further inquiries are made.
