Civil Society Reps Vowed not to Allow Mahinda to Raise his Head

Civil societies say it will not allow forces defeated at two national elections to come into power again.

The civil societies said it needs to protect the people’s mandate given to the government on the 8th of January and the 17th of August last year.

Speaking at an event co-hosted by the Citizen’s Power and the People’s Movement for a Just Society in Colombo yesterday, Co-Convenor of the Citizen’s Power KW Janaranjana said the present government is in the right track and where it wants to be.
