Mahindananda Aluthgamage Claims 1000 Million Damages

At Madhiwala Housing Complex, where Members of Parliament  are given residential facilities, an abandoned Defender Vehicle was identifies as the Vehicle used by  the former Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage. MPs Ranjan Ramanayaka and Ananda Aluthgamage, jointly identified this defender reported to have been used by Mahindananda Aluthgamage   to the press and electronic medias. Ananda Aluthgamge, brother of  Mahindananda Aluthgamage alleged that this defender was used for several unlawful activities during the last Presidential and General elections.   Joint Opposition has said today (22), that this vehicle belonged to the Ministry of Sports. It is relevant to mention the fact here that Mahindananda Aluthgamage was the Minister of Sports during Mahinda’s era.

Disturbed by this exposure,Mahindananda Aluthgamage has sent letters of demand of Rs.500 Million  each from MPs Ranjan Ramanayaka and Ananda Aluthgamage through his lawyer.
