Minister of Health cum cabinet spokesman, Rajitha Senarathna announcing cabinet decisions said today(22) that the cabinet has decided to increase the TAX on Tobacco production to 90%. Further , proposal was placed to completely remove TAX on medicines and medical check up in private medical institutions.
