Handing over of 800 Acres of Land to people by President

During Mahinda’s era under Veras River Project, 800 acres of people’s lands were forcibly taken by Mahinda Regimein Kesbewa. This includes a land belongs to a historical Vihara and another Vihara in Kesbawa.

 After the defeat of Mahinda, people made representations to the President and the Government. The President has decided to hanover the lands back to the people tomorrow.
