New Modus operandi To Rob Vehicles

Two youths aged 24 and 25 from Unawattuwa and Udugama areas of Galle respectively have adopted a new method to rob vehicles. They closely examine news paper advertisement for vehicle and note down or find out prospective sellers address through contact nos. and rob their vehicle. Once they rob the vehicle they change the registration and chassis no of the vehicle. They have already robbed 27 cars. On arrest both of them were produced before the Udugama Magistrate Court and remanded until 13th July 2016. There were cares pending against these two suspects, who were issued with 14 warrants for arrest.
