University Non-Academic Staff Poised for a Token Strike

The Inter University Employees’ Trade Union Federation Co-chairman Edward Malwattage said,  the university non-academic staff have decided to launch a two day token strike on July 13 and 14 based on seven demands, for which the Government has not responded.

The Higher Education Ministry and the University Grants Commission have been informed of these demands well in advance.
