Ampitiya Mosque Under Attack

President of the Kandy Mosque Forum Siddik Hajiyar contacted Minister of posts and Muslims religion Affairs, M.H.A. Haleem and informed that the  Ampitiya Mosque was stoned and attacked by a four member group at 22.30 hrs yesterday. Minister contacted DIG Central Province  immediately. Prompt action taken by police resulted in arrest of one person the other three are on the run . Police are investigating the incident. Ampitiya Mosque came under attack two week back too.
