Viral flu Forced Sabaragamuwa University Closure

Vice Chancellor of Sabaragamuwa University Prof. Chandana P. Udawatte said, the spread of the viral  flu had shown signs of rapidly increasing owing to the prevailing windy weather condition in the area.

This had resulted in a majority of the students being infected.  Hence, in order to control the spread of viral flu, a decision was taken to close the university till July 19,

The Vice Chancellor said that the students living in hostels have been asked to leave before tomorrow evening.
