Locating Economic Center Issue Resolved

In the recent past there were press reports quoting the the location of Economic Center for the Northern Province should be located at Omanthai.

Another group insisted that, it should be at Killinochchi. Third group insisted that it should be located at Vavuniya.

As this matter was dragged on for a long period, the cabinet has taken a decision to resolve this issues by establishing 2 Economic centers, one at Omanthai and the other is at Vavuniya.

This was revealed by the government Spokesmen, Minister Rajitha Senarathna, while replying a question raised by a journalist in yesterday’s press conference to announce cabinet decision.
