Probe on Telecast of ‘Pada Yathra’ Song in Rupavahini
On 1st August 2016 , the day Pada Yathra entered Colombo from their trip from Kandy, Srilanka Rupavahini Corporation in its’ early morning telecast shown Deepika Priyadarshani’s ‘Apa Haa Enu Mena Paada Yathra’ song around 6.45a.m. This song is regarded as a Nationalistic song (Deshabimane), which included the words “Pada Yathra”.
Now the SLRC administration said to have ordered a probe to find out whether it was done deliberately or a coincident?
