Sri Lanka Freedom Party’s 65th Anniversary in Kurunegala on September

United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) General Secretary, Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Minister Mahinda Amaraweea said that  the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) will celebrate its 65th anniversary in Kurunegala on September 4 as September 2 is a week day.

September 2 is the day of the SLFP’s anniversary, but, we plan to celebrate it on September 4 as we do not want to inconvenience the public,  he said.

Further,  he  said  we also hope to conduct a number of religious activities to coincide with the SLFP’s anniversary celebrations.
