International Community Acknowledges SL is Moving Towards Settlement – Rajitha

The Hindu news paper questioned Rajitha Senarathne  on whether the international community would end its engagement with Sri Lanka on the national issue after March 2017,  when the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is scheduled to present a comprehensive report before the UN Human Rights Council.
Minister Rajitha Senaratne in response, told the Hindu that there was a possibility.
Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratne says the international community is well aware that Sri Lanka is improving and moving towards settlement in the correct direction ensuring the rights of minorities.
Chief Minister of the Northern Province CV Wigneswaran is of the view,  that once the government informs the UNHRC in Geneva in March next year of its progress, the settlement of the national issue would be in the offing.
