War Victory Credit only to Mahinda and his Cronies?

Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe while returning after seeing his son Namal   in remand prison spoke to press. He said that ‘’ people knows who brought the war to an end. Now some other people are claiming that they too have their share in ending the war. People are not fools to accept or believe   such statements.

Observers say, although war was ended during Mahinda’s tenure, thousands of men and women from all three forces, their senior commanders who sacrificed their lives and then Army Commander too have contributed in weakening the tigers towards the end, which too contributed to end the war. Hence, no single person can claim war victory.
