Demand to reveal Concealed Secrets of Joint Opposition  by President

Recently President Maithreepala Sirisena has said, that certain top level secrets about Joint Opposition politicians are with him. If they resort to form a new Party, it would be revealed to the public, so that they won’t be able to walk on the streets, President said.

Followed by this, various politicians and social groups demand to reveal all these concealed secrets to the public. In this connection JVP said “whatever secrets Sirisena knows are not personal disputes between his family and Rajapaksas or some personal matter. These are obviously things which the people of this country should know about. “The President should not keep such secrets to be disclosed only when his party is threatened,” Therefore, the Presidents should reveal these secrets now,” JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissnayake said at the Matara rally recently.

Pivithuru Hela Urumaya General Secretary and MP Udaya Gammanpila thrown a challenge to President Maithreepala Sirisena, to disclose the secrets he knew about opposition politicians. “As far as we know, there is no connection between formation of a new political party and the nabbing of thieves. If anyone has committed a crime, action should be taken against them regardless of forming a new party. The President has given an assurance to protect the secrets of wrong doers as long as they listen to him. Is this God Governance ?” he ask at a news conference. The MP said once the secrets are out, the people would be able to figure out the where about of so called golden hoses and Lamborghini of Namal Rajapakshe, Helicopters and the US$ 18 Billion account belonging to former President Mahinda Rajapakshe.

“Even we are keen to know what happened to these accounts and golden horses. It seems the President has willing the concealed the secretes. Therefore, the President should reveal the secrets”, Gammanpila Concluded.
