Weather Forecast For 29th August 2016

A Slight change in prevailing weather is expected during next few days.

Showers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa Central, Southern and North-western provinces. Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.

On the apparent southward relative motion of the sun, it is going to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during 28^th of August and 07^th of September in this year. The nearest towns of Sri Lanka over which the sun is overhead today (29^th) are Kulamrippu, Tenniyankulam and Ambanama about 12.12 noon.
